In the fourth quarter of last year, these two figures were 17.10 and 15.70 US dollars, respectively. It is clear that AMOLED prices are falling faster.
This means that more and more mid-range and even low-end smartphones will use AMOLED screens, especially more and more Chinese mobile phone brands have reached cooperation with Samsung, and even Apple iPhone will be used within a year or two. On AMOLED, and most likely it is Samsung's exclusive supply.
In addition, Samsung has been improving the display quality and performance of Super AMOLED panels. The screens of high-end mobile phones such as Galaxy S6 and S7 have been rated as the best by professional organizations such as DisplayMate.
Samsung's display department is also actively expanding the production capacity of AMOLED panels. The production efficiency has increased by 90-65 percent , and the new A3 production line has also been put into production.
